Howell Moulding began as a custom frame shop in 1958. In those years, there were no chop programs so we made our own moulding, finished, carved and gold leafed our frames.   

Do-It-Yourself

In 1966, we introduced the D.I.Y. frame concept to the hardware industry and a year later, we brought our open frame to the Craft market.  

Today

We are capable of producing 20,000 frames per day in our 170,000 ft. facility just outside of Kansas City.
